About VocaLuma ID
We are a Jakarta-based collective of vocal coaches, conductors, and performers. Our goal is simple: safe, effective, and joyful singing for everyone in Indonesia.
We care about cultural fit—Dangdut riffs, Keroncong phrasing, Bahasa diction—and also modern Pop, R&B, and Theatre styles. We keep the interface minimal and the outcomes measurable.
History
VocaLuma ID began as a micro studio in 2018, when three choir directors started weekend technique clinics in South Jakarta. By 2020, we piloted remote warm‑up rooms over low bandwidth connections to reach learners in Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar. In 2022, we standardized our curriculum around short measurable drills, Bahasa-first guidance, and genre‑aware exercises.
Today, we serve soloists, school choirs, content creators, and worship teams—with one promise: healthy voices, consistent progress, and a welcoming practice culture.
